Description
Administering emergency medical care to injured and critically ill in an emergency environment or while transporting them to other medical facility as a member of an emergency medical team.
Requirements
- Provide care in the process of resuscitate patients in an emergency before hospital admission.
- Determine the priority under the supervision of line manager for required emergency care as outlined.
- Determine nature and extent of injury or illness and record patient information and vital signs
- Provide medical care during emergency situations, such as CPR, AED, control bleeding, prevent spinal damages, etc.
- Lift and move patients as necessary for treatment and transportation to medical facilities.
- Monitor patient’s conditions and stabilizations while en-route to the hospitals
- Operate the portable x-ray machine and carrying out portable x-ray orders done through RRT
- Process invoices and payment in RRT: the concerned staff is responsible for collecting the payment from the client, authentication of doctor’s orders through VIDA and generating electronic invoices, handing over invoices and payment to finance office
- Operate emergency medical apparatus and equipment.
- Drive ambulance as needed.
- Maintain inventory of medical equipment and supplies and ensure equipment are working properly.
- Keep vehicle clean and in efficient operating condition
- Help to calm down the family members of the victim and the public at the scene
- Provide patient and family education as per the needs.
- Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMC.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
- Perform other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
