Job Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create and present visual reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Prepare data dashboards for various stakeholders to drive business decisions.
- Data Modeling & Forecasting: Develop predictive models, forecast trends, and make recommendations based on data findings.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data. Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, IT) to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Database Management: Maintain and query databases using SQL or similar tools. Handle and analyze structured and unstructured data.
- Automation: Automate repetitive data tasks using Python, R, or similar scripting languages where applicable.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). Knowledge of programming languages like Python, R, or similar is a plus.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate data insights into business solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a bonus.
Work Environment:
